Here's the shortest possible version of what's actually required, and what you can safely ignore for now.

Three Things, That's All

If you can manage these, we can take it from there.

• One photo. Not the best one — just one that looks like them. Send the original file if you can find it.
• A rough count. "Around 80" is fine. Plan high; guests take extras for people who couldn't come.
• The service date, or "no date yet." Either answer helps.

What Can Wait

Names, dates, scripture, and design choices can all be decided when you see the proof — or left off entirely. A photograph by itself is enough. Many of the keepsakes families treasure most have nothing on them but a face.

Let Someone Else Hold This Task

If there's a sibling, a friend, or someone from church who keeps asking how they can help, this is a good thing to hand them. Copy them on the email and tell us they're the contact. We'll work with them and keep you out of the back-and-forth.

There is no deadline on remembering someone. Keepsakes made a month later, or a year later for an anniversary gathering, mean just as much. Families tell us the ones made later are often the ones they keep closest.
