How We Use Your Photo
When you upload a photo for personalization, here's exactly what happens:
- Your photo is used only to create your order — nothing else, unless you separately opt in below.
- We use design and photo-editing tools, including AI-assisted tools like Canva, ChatGPT, and Gemini, to fit your photo into the finished design.
- We do not post your photo publicly or use it in marketing without asking you first.
- Please avoid photos that show your child's name, school, home address, or other identifying details in the background (name tags, mail, house numbers, school signage, jerseys with last names, etc.).
Optional: Featuring Your Photo
“I give TSO Custom Keepsakes permission to use my child's (or my own) photo/likeness — including the edited or AI-composited version — on the website, in product examples, or in marketing materials.”
You'll see this as a separate, optional checkbox on the order form. It is completely optional and won't affect how your order is made or fulfilled.
Common questions
Will my photo be edited before it becomes my magnet, button, or coaster?
Yes. We use design and photo-editing tools — including AI-assisted tools like Canva, ChatGPT, and Gemini — to fit your photo into the finished design. Your photo is used only to create your order and is not shared publicly or used for anything else without your separate permission.
Is my child's photo safe to send you?
Yes. Please just avoid photos where your child's name, school, home address, or other identifying details are visible in the background. We don't post customer photos publicly or use them in marketing unless you specifically opt in.
