How Long Does a Custom Keepsake Order Take, Start to Finish?
September 23, 2026·4 min read

Quick answer
Custom orders generally run about 5–10 business days in production after you approve your proof, plus shipping time. Before that, allow a day or two for the quote and proof. The step that decides your timeline is proof approval — production doesn't start until you've said yes.

Timing questions usually come with a date attached: a funeral, a wedding, a reunion, a birthday. Here's exactly what happens between your first email and the box arriving, so you can work backward from your date.
The Steps
Every custom order moves through the same five stages.
- You email the photo, the quantity, and the date. Fastest step — and the more detail you give, the fewer replies it takes.
- We quote it and confirm we can meet your date. Usually same or next business day.
- We prepare your proof, including any photo repair.
- You approve the proof. Production starts here, not before.
- Production, generally about 5–10 business days, then shipping.
What Slows Things Down
Almost every delay we see comes from one of these:
- A proof sitting unanswered in an inbox.
- A photo that arrives compressed and has to be re-sent as an original.
- Design changes after approval.
- Peak season — November and December run tighter than the rest of the year.
Holiday Timing
For Christmas delivery, custom orders should be placed by November 15, and custom orders require pre-approval. Premade Testify Swag Kits and local pickup run through December 15. After those dates, reach out and we'll tell you honestly what's still possible.
If Your Date Is Close
Email us anyway with the date in the subject line. We'll tell you plainly whether we can make it. We'd rather turn something down than take an order we can't finish on time.
How a 3.5-inch photo magnet becomes part of the story
Our custom photo magnets are professionally produced as 3.5-inch round keepsakes. They are big enough to actually see the faces in the picture, but small enough to belong on the refrigerator, the filing cabinet at work, or the side of a metal lamp in grandma's bedroom.
You provide the photograph. We help you make sure the resolution, the crop, and the framing honor the moment. Most people send us a phone photo or a scan of an older print, and we walk them through the rest. The keepsake itself does the work after that — quietly, every day, for years.
Across the Yakima Valley
Families across the Yakima Valley have a way of holding tight to the photographs that matter. We hear it from grandparents in Naches, from young couples in Sunnyside, and from churches and ministries gathering in Yakima. Wherever you live in the valley — from the orchard roads of Tieton to the riverfront in Prosser — a keepsake photo magnet can quietly carry your story from one chapter to the next.
How to start
Email tsocustomkeepsakes@gmail.com with a short note about the photograph you want to preserve and the moment behind it. We'll respond with simple next steps — how to send the image, a brief design questionnaire, and information about custom order options.
There is no shopping cart and no checkout. Every keepsake we make begins with a conversation, because every keepsake we make is built around a story.
